Conditions to be a Destitute :
These are the conditions that the government requires to consider you Destitute:
- A state resident is someone who has been living in the country for a continuous period of not less than two years immediately before the date of application. Father, mother, and son) over the age of 20.
- Women whose husband has died and who are not remarried have no income source or nominal pension/income above Rs.3oo/– only.
- Unmarried child or unmarried woman whose parents have died and who is not of the age of 20.
Supporting documents to the application form:
- Aadhaar Card of the Applicant
- Voters/Elections ID
- The applicant's ration card
- Affidavit to the destitution certificate
Time Period: The deadline to receive the certificate is five days after the date of the application.
Validity: Applicants can get benefits from this certificate for 3 Years from the date of the issue of a certificate.
